  • To introduce Vocational Diploma & Degree Education for Artisans so as to develop them up to Technocrat level.<\/li>\n
  • To provide opportunity of vertical mobility i.e. Vocational Diploma & Degree Education.<\/li>\n
  • In Maharashtra presently in 52 Govt. ITIs skill testing is available, in 20 Govt. ITIs Vocational Diploma is running, in 13 different Vocational Trades. Vocational Diploma is awarded by MSBTE Mumbai.<\/li>\n
  • To certify the skills of employed workforce of unorganized sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

        • Level \u2013 I (Artizen)<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 1st Level skill Testing for unqualified worker.<\/li>\n
        • Level- II ( Senior Artizen)<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 2nd Level skill Testing for 1st Level Passed Candidate.<\/li>\n
        • Level \u2013 III ( Craftsman)<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 SCVT Exam For 2nd Level Passed Candidate<\/li>\n
        • Level \u2013 IV ( Master Craftsman)<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 NCVT Examination.<\/li>\n

          • In Unorganized Sector lot of skilled persons are working but they don\u2019t possess certificate of skills. The skill testing scheme is initially started for Mason, Plumber & Carpenter from year 2005.Now Skill Testing is done in 13 different trades in 52 Govt. ITI\u2019s in Maharashtra State.<\/li>\n
          • Six skill levels are defined i.e. Artisan, Senior Artisan, Craftsman, Master Craftsman, Technician & Technocrat.<\/li>\n
          • Skill Testing centers are developed in ITIs.<\/li>\n
          • Selected Instructors are trained as Skill Assessor.<\/li>\n
          • Skill Test is conducted every month.<\/li>\n
          • 27th, 28th & 29th are the fixed dates for skill testing.<\/li>\n
          • Certification\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 jointly by Local Industrial Association & DVET.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
